Beautiful swan and her reflection are captured using oil pastels on black paper in an ivory marble frame. Please note this frame is not meant to be hung on a wall, it has no attachments on the back for hanging.

Oil pastels are a bit of a challenging medium for me - they are hard to get those small details! I love them though because like oil paints they allow layering and to create texture in the painting. I like to think of them a bit like “grown-up crayons”.
